DESCRIPTION: A (self-)assessment tool designed to provide insight into how an individual currently gives feedback in an educational setting and how they can further develop their skills. The assessment is based on a model created by John Hattie and Helen Timperley, two professors from New Zealand, which explains how feedback can be provided effectively for learning. The model and its application are further detailed in a manual called “Giving Effective Feedback.” While the manual and the self-assessment instrument can be used independently, it is recommended to consult the manual for better understanding.
